Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr began her career in the year 1990 as leader singer of The Corrs, a Celtic rock and pop-rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and three of their older siblings. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. She received an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is best known for being member of The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead of the group and is a musician on several instruments. Andrea started her career as an actress in 1991. Later, she became an artist on stage and as a musician. Playback singer for 1998 Warner Bros. animation film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's studio albums include six. They are complete with two compilation albums, three live albums and a remix album. Her work has been praised by her charity work as well. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and has two kids. Andrea began her lessons in music using the Tin-whistle. Andrea learned how to play the piano with the guidance of Gerry. Andrea is also proficient on the ukulele. Her teenage years were spent working on her singing skills. She worked alongside siblings and brothers to become the singer for the group. Andrea took part in numerous plays in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
